Strategy: Begin by making matches at the bottom to drop some of the liquorice swirls. The liquorice swirls only cascade down in odd columns 1,3,5,7 and 9, so you MUST make vertical matches on the upper board to clear liquorice, it wil not drop down from even-numbered columns. Once you have some space on the upper board, make as many matches as possible there to clear liquorice, then return to lower board to make matches, create cascades and clear double jellies.
The upper part of the board is completely filled with liquorice swirls and will travel down to the lower board. Fortunately, there are only single jelly squares on here. The jellies are worth 108,000 points, which is equal to the one star target score.

This is so outdated it should be embarrassing to you. The Level now requires crushing 144 squares in 18 tries.
This is so outdated it is of no help. Today, 8/30/22, there are only 18 tries available and after a month of working this level daily, I have gotten no less than 56 cleared.
