Strategy: To complete this level, make a striped + wrapped combination where the jelly is, then use the fishes to clear the rest of the jelly. One thing to be aware of is that there are a total 36 double jellies meaning that the board has a total of 72 required hits. You are also given 12 jelly fish meaning that the fish alone will clear a maximum of 36 (12 × 3 jelly hits per fish) jellies when all are set off. This means that you need to hit at least 36 jellies before the fish allow you to clear the level. A vertical striped candy on the left side will take off as much as 12 of the required 36 jelly hits required to clear the level.
There are only 25 moves to clear the jelly. No candies fall on the left side. There are 12 jelly fishes behind marmalade, but there is a row of four-layer icing above them. With only 12 jelly fish, it also mean that a maximum of 36 single jellies will be cleared by them. Hence, the remaining 36 single jellies have to be manually cleared. With only 25 moves, clearing the jelly is fairly challenging, and a decision must be made by the player as to where you start. Level 256 Tips & Help
1On this board, you are going to want to keep resetting until you get a decent enough left-hand side. You should be able to clear 90% of the left-hand side before moving to the right. Unlike other Candy Crush jelly levels, the candies on the left-hand side do not replace themselves. This means that when there are no more moves, there are no more moves!.
2With only 25 moves and 36 pieces of double-wrapped jelly, meringue layers and marmalade, you wont be able to beat level 256 without special candy combinations. Ideally, to clear the most jelly, you want a striped and wrapped candy combination. But if you get a color bomb, a color bomb+striped candy can do you some good too!. Remember, try maximizing as many moves as you can on the right-hand side that will affect the left side.
3In order to let the jelly fish free, you will need to clear the multi layered meringue and marmalade. If you follow step 2 and make special candies, you will easily free some jelly fish. The 12 jelly fish, which you should be used to seeing from Sugar Crush, when released, will eat some of your jelly. If you can clear a good 2/3 of the pieces you need to, the jelly fish will help you take care of the rest.
