Strategy: This level is not as hard as it looks. The trick or strategy for this level involves a bit of forward thinking. It almost goes without saying that your best friend for this level is the color bomb + striped candy combination, but the trick to this level is not to obsess about making those early. At first, the objective should be to open up the board a bit more, by destroying the inner layer of icing and some of the outer layer on each side. Once the board is more open, you should start to get plenty of special candies quite easily. Also, it should be possible to engineer combinations if you can see a couple of moves ahead. However, you should not always strive too hard to make the precious color bomb + striped candy combination. The board is so open that you have a very good chance of making further color bombs by exploding a color bomb with a well-populated color. If that color is represented in one or two of the hard-to-reach places, even better. Even more so, once the board is more open and quite a lot of jelly exposed, a color bomb + wrapped combination on this board will destroy a lot of jelly and almost certainly spawn more color bombs to use for you to play with, including making those decisive color bomb + striped candy combinations at the end, to finish the board off.
All of the jelly squares are underneath the three-layered icing squares. Especially, the four of them at the corners can only be reached by special candies. 50 moves is quite many. Use all of them wisely. The jellies are worth 20,000 points. Hence, an additional 10,000 points is required to earn one star.
