To beat this level, you must crush 4 single and 33 double jelly squares in 50 moves or fewer. You have 5 candy colors and 53 available spaces. You can get a maximum of 225,000 points.
Strategy: Your focus early on needs to be on the candy bombs. Note that the columns of three candy bombs on each side have hidden exits diagonally below the columns – if you blast those cells a candy bomb or two will spill out. This might help you clear some of those bombs, although you still need to clear the jelly from those columns. But most bombs are in really pesky corners, along with dispensers for fresh bombs. You will need color bombs, the frogtastic and/or well-positioned combinations to attack those hard to reach places. There are four blockers near the centre, making it much harder to make special candies and combinations until they are gone. With only 20 moves until one or more bombs get you, you will need to plan moves that ideally do more than one thing in the early stages – e.g. attack a blocker while feeding the frog. Once most of the blockers are gone, you have a good chance to make the special candies you need. A color bomb is mighty helpful, especially if you can combination it with a striped candy. If you place your frogtastic well, probably towards a corner to clear one of those hard-to-reach bombs, you might get a second go with “Frogtastic” to help clear the final jellies.
There are 50 moves, which is enough to clear the jelly, but the blockers can be problematic. The jelly squares on the first and ninth columns are very hard to clear. In addition, the single jelly squares can only be reached by special candies. 20-move candy bombs spawn on the first and ninth columns. They are quite hard to remove because most of the time, the player needs special candies to reach these two columns. A candy frog may help to clear the jelly squares which are hard to reach. The jellies are worth 70,000 points, which is more than the one star target score.
