If the wrapped candies are not combined together, the level can be somewhat harder. Still, continuously making matches near the liquorice swirls should eventually open up more room, and bring down the ingredients later on.
Because of 60 liquorice swirls at the bottom resisting the special candies, it will be difficult to destroy them and reach the bottom of the board. The player is supposed to combine two wrapped candies to clear a lot of liquorice swirls, but the liquorice swirls present at the beginning of the game limits the number of candies that can appear on the board, causing shuffling to happen quite often and mess with the plans. 1At the start of this level your main focus should be on getting past the sea of licorice swirls. Obviously without doing so you will not be able to get your ingredients to fall. For the most part, striped candies will do wonders on ingredient levels. However, using them against the licorice swirls will prove futile as they just swallow up the effects of both the striped and wrapped candies. Do your best to simply clear them away until the board is able to open up more.Once your ingredient is below them you should be good. At times the board may even reshuffle which could be a key assist in this level to get through the blockers.
2Fortunately there is a great way to clear out a cluster of licorice swirls and the board has even supplied you with them. Free the 2 wrapped candies from the marmalade and combine them. When you combine these two candies they WILL take out the swirls, making a nice path for your ingredients to fall.
3The board has also provided you with a locked color bomb. Once you are able to free it, it is important to remember not to squander such a gift. You could use the bomb to remove a candy blocking the exit for your ingredient.. Or you could use it and combine it with another special candy. Doing this will multiple it’s effect in some way, and potentially clear an even larger path for your ingredient.
