Strategy: Aside from breaking icing to reach the color bombs, you should make them by yourselves as well. Make matches near the icing whenever possible, and start from the bottom. Be careful not to break the topmost icing, or else liquorice will start flooding the board and make it unnecessarily difficult.
Luckily all color bombs that the player needs are already provided. However, they all rest behind the four- and five-layered icing. The player also has six colors, so making matches beside the icing will be tricky. Once the icing is cleared, the dispensers will spawn liquorice swirls which make it harder to uncover the color bombs. The order is worth 10,000 points, which is equal to the one star target score.

2Though these matches don’t target the color balls as much as matches in the same row do, making column matches will hack away at a bunch of meringues at once. If you want to eliminate most of the meringues, this will save you moves compared to if you just make matches in the same row.
3Striped candies will eliminate meringues on both sides of the board at once, but you must make sure they will eliminate rows, not columns.
