Strategy: Quickly get rid of the icing and the bomb. Use vertical striped candies to open up the bottom section. Then, break the liquorice locks and hope that the mystery candies hold color bombs inside.

1This level starts with an 18 count bomb in the middle of the board. The bomb is your biggest threat as it is hidden behind several layered meringues. Make it your first priority in beating the level!. Try taking the bomb out with a striped candy from the side.
2The color bombs are going to most likely be hidden in the mystery candies below the meringues. Break through the meringues to get to the mystery candies after you deal with the bomb. Layered meringues can be tough to get through, but hit them a few times and you will persevere!. Once you can break through, the special candies should allow you to really open up the level.
3Like any level filled with mystery candy, 284 depends on luck!. The goal of the level is to make 5 color bombs. Your best chance is in the mystery candy. Especially with such limited space, forming new color bombs is going to be difficult.
