1The two cake wheels at the top need to be destroyed as fast as possible. They rack you up points, but when they are totally cleared, a hammer hits the board and gives every square a 1-hit to it (so the multi-layered meringues will lose one layer). This helps immensely to clear space on the board and help bring down the lone ingredient.
2You need to make special candies to help break through all of the obstacles. If you can’t make a color bomb, wrapped and striped candy combinations take out good chunks of the baord.
3If you happen to make a color bomb, don’t waste moves trying to pair it with another special candy. Combine it with the colored candy that is most prevalent in the licorice X’s.
